Journal Metrics

Journal metrics offer valuable insights into the performance and influence of our journal, helping authors and readers make informed decisions. Metrics such as Speed, Article Usage, and Acceptance Rate collectively provide a well-rounded view of the journal. While these metrics are useful, they should be considered alongside qualitative factors such as the journal’s scope, target audience, and the quality of its published content. We encourage readers and prospective authors to view metrics as supportive tools rather than standalone measures of quality.

This figure is based on manuscripts accepted within the past six months, including those that underwent one or more rounds of peer review. The data is updated quarterly.

  • From Acceptance to Publication: The median number of days from a manuscript’s acceptance to its online publication. This statistic is based on manuscripts published within the past six months. The data is updated quarterly.

Acceptance Rate

The acceptance rate represents the proportion of manuscripts submitted to the journal in the previous calendar year that were accepted for publication. It is calculated as the number of accepted manuscripts divided by the total number of final decisions (i.e., acceptances plus rejections) made during that year. This data is updated annually and covers up to the most recent three years.
