Predictive significance of PD-L1 in HNSCC patients with variable CD8+ TIL levels
PD-L1 expression had no impact on PFS or OS in patients with high CD8+ TILs; in contrast, high PD-L1 was linked to worse OS in patients with low CD8+ TILs (HR: 1.90); no significant difference in PFS across CD8+ TIL levels.
PD-L1 expression negatively impacts OS in HNSCC patients with low CD8+ TIL levels, but not in those with high CD8+ TIL levels.
