Our Editorial Board Member and Guest Editor, Professor Patricia Tai, actively promoted Exploration of Medicine and the special issue she leads during the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology (CARO) Annual Scientific Meeting 2025, held on September 10–13, 2025, at The Westin Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The conference, themed “From Dose to Destiny: The Past, Present, and Future of Radiation Therapy”, brought together leading oncologists, researchers, and healthcare professionals from across Canada. Participants discussed advances in technology, clinical care, education, research innovation, safe radiotherapy delivery, and opportunities for more equitable access to radiation therapy.
During the event, Professor Tai distributed flyers introducing Exploration of Medicine and the special issue, Practical Tips for Cancer Care: Guidance for Patients, Caregivers, and Healthcare Professionals. The flyers highlighted the journal’s growth and encouraged contributions from oncology experts.
By actively engaging with attendees and sharing resources, Professor Tai effectively raised the visibility of the journal and exemplified the important role editorial board members play in advancing the journal and fostering academic collaboration.
We sincerely thank Professor Tai for her outstanding contributions to promoting Exploration of Medicine. We also encourage more Editorial Board Members and Guest Editors to participate in similar conference engagements, which strengthen academic collaboration, broaden visibility, and support the journal’s growth.
