| Known severe allergy or adverse reaction to thrombolytic agent or contrast media (not controlled by steroid/antihistamine therapy) | 
| Severe thrombocytopenia | 
| Known right-to-left cardiac or pulmonary shunt | 
| Suspected intracardiac thrombus | 
| Suspected infected venous thrombus | 
| Chronic kidney disease | 
| Active pregnancy | 
| Severe liver disease |
