abstract = {Gastric cancer (GC) is one of the most common malignant tumors, ranking fifth in incidence and third in mortality worldwide. China also bears a high burden of GC, second only to lung cancer. With the advancement of clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR) technology, the mechanisms underlying the development and progression of various tumor types have been elucidated. This article summarizes the application of CRISPR technology in the functional genomics identification and target screening of GC genes, explores the use of chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cell therapy for solid gastric tumors, and discusses the progress and significance of CRISPR technology in constructing GC models using organoids.},
